Panels and Roundtable Sessions are also welcome. We also welcome papers on areas that influence our work as academics, including student demographics, student/instructor accountability and assessment, student advising, academic leadership in departments and programs, and the place of the English department in the university. How do writers explore, engage, and articulate Confluence within the places, spaces, experiences, texts, and selves of their travels?ĬEA welcomes proposals for presentations that move to the general conference theme: Confluence. Of particular interest will be presentations that actualize the conference theme, Confluence, as it applies to travelers across America, around the world, and through time and space. Theoretical and interdisciplinary approaches are welcome, as are papers concerning various genres and historical periods of literature.
